  • Toyo.lk offers value additions such as “Warranty”, “Cash on Delivery” and ”Delivery” at the discretion of Toyo.lk and its partners in good faith. Specifics of such value additions are detailed in the FAQ section of the site. Toyo.lk Reserves the right to revise the Terms and Conditions governing these value additions.

Web User Monitoring/Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp Chat History/Recording of Communications

  • Website Monitoring, and recording of your calls, emails, text messages or other communications may take place when required in accordance with the law, and in particular for Toyo.lk business purposes, such as for quality control and training, to prevent unauthorized use of Toyo.lk telecommunication systems and to ensure effective systems operation and in order to prevent or detect crime.

Product/Service Termination

  • Toyo.lk may elect to suspend, vary or terminate the Services and the Sites at any time without prior notice for repair or maintenance work or in order to upgrade or update the Sites and the Services or for any other reason whatsoever.
  • Toyo.lk may elect to terminate the Services or your access to the Sites forthwith on breach of any of these Terms and Conditions by you, including, without limitation, or if Toyo.lk ceases to offer the Sites and the Services to its customers for any reason whatsoever.

Pricing

The list price displayed for products on our website may or may not represent the latest price listed on the product itself. Concerning items sold through the Site, we cannot confirm the price of an item until you have ordered. Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items in our catalogue may be incorrectly priced. If an item’s actual price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, contact you for further instructions, before delivery or cancellation of your order and notify you of such cancellation. We request all customers to call and confirm the price/availability of the product before placing the order.

Unavailability of Product / Product Out of Stock

Inventory of all products advertised on Toyo.lk is not always in stock at the back-end. If the customer has ordered an out of stock product/s by paying via payment gateway or bank transfer, the customer acknowledges and agrees that the only remedy available for the unavailability of a product is the refund of the money paid. When you place an order to purchase a product from us, you will receive an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order (the “Order Confirmation E-mail”). The Order Confirmation E-mail/SMS is the acknowledgement that we have received your order and has been passed for processing and does not confirm acceptance of your offer to buy the product(s) ordered. We only accept your offer, when we have confirmed the product is in stock and is ready to be delivered.

Payments

  • We accept Cash on Delivery for Colombo 1-15 and selected suburbs.
  • COD (Cash on Delivery; pay cash when product/s is/are delivered to you)
  • Cash on Delivery orders beyond Colombo 1-15 will be delivered via a third-party courier company. All orders are subject to confirmation from Toyo.lk. A staff member will contact you to confirm the Order. You cannot cancel the order or refuse to pay when the product/s is delivered to you after your confirmation.
  • We accept payments via Bank Transfer/Fund Transfer.
  • We accept payments via Visa and Mastercard.
  • Pay by Genie and VISA/Mastercard payments via GENIE options are provided by DIALOG GENIE Internet Payment Gateway.
  • VISA and Mastercard Payment options are provided by Seylan Bank Internet Payment Gateway.
  • We accept payment via American Express, Diners Club, Discover
  • American Express, Diners Club and Discover Payment options are provided by Onepay (Spemai Pvt Ltd) Internet Payment Gateway.
  • KOKO (PayKOKO) payment/instalment facility is provided by Dinnovation (Pvt Ltd)
COD (Cash on Delivery; pay cash when product/s is/are delivered to you) All orders are subject to confirmation from Toyo.lk. A staff member will contact you to confirm the Order. You cannot cancel the order or refuse to pay when the product/s is delivered to you after your confirmation.

Delivery of Products

Orders delivered beyond Colombo 1-15 and selected suburbs will be delivered through a third-party courier company. Products must be thoroughly inspected before accepting. If the product is damaged or any parts are missing, you must immediately inform the delivery person and not accept the product. If you accept we consider that the product was in good condition and returns/ refund requests will not be accepted by Toyo.lk. Delivery time is generally 2 to 7 business days, however, times could vary depending on the courier partners. Further, Toyo.lk cannot be held liable for any delays by the courier companies.
  • Please ensure to check your ordered product/s for any physical damages before accepting the delivery.
  • Toyo.lk will not be liable for goods that are damaged in transit if the Proof of Delivery (POD) is signed and the goods are accepted.
  • Please pick up products ordered under the ‘Store Pick Up’ option within 1 week from the specified product available date for pick up.
  • Toyo.lk will not bear responsibility for the condition of the products which are not collected within 1 week, and Toyo.lk reserves the right to dispose of the product/s if not collected within one month.
Type of delivery options
  • Standard Delivery: Delivery time is generally 1 to 7 business days
  • Express Delivery: Delivery within 24hrs
Express Delivery and Expedited Delivery is available for selected products and selected locations only
  • Delivery of the items will be based on the availability of the item you have ordered and the delivery location.
  • The delivery period provided on our site will neither form a condition nor a warranty on the delivery period.
  • If Express Delivery had not been fulfilled, delivery charges would be refunded and standard delivery charges would apply. *Express Delivery is not available during Bank, Public and Mercantile holidays. However, if an Express Delivery order is placed it will be delivered on the next working day.
  • Toyo.lk management has the authority to cancel the Express Delivery and change the order to Standard Delivery depending on the stock availability.
  • Cash on Delivery orders beyond Colombo 1-15 will be delivered via a third-party courier company.

Warranty

Details about the warranty provided for products are mentioned here. Tempered Glass, back covers and other products without warranties are not applicable for warranty. Toyo.lk General Warranty Terms and Conditions
  • Warranty covers only manufacture defects. Damages or defects due to other causes such as negligence, misuse, improper operation, power fluctuation, lightning or other natural disaster, sabotage or accident, etc. are not included under this warranty. Repairs or replacements necessitated by such causes not covered by the warranty are subject to charges for labour time and material.
  • Tempered Glass, back covers and other products without warranties are not applicable for warranty.
  • Warranty will be void if third-party OS is detected (Apple: Jail Breaking, Android: Custom ROMs), different region firmware installation, unlocked bootloaders or tampering of the internal storage with unauthorized access.
  • Certain Apple devices will follow the AppleCare Warranty Policy once activated
  • The device will not qualify for warranty claims if the device is found with physical damages, drop damages, water damages, cosmetic damages, burns and for the display and its touch sensors.
  • The device will also not qualify for hardware failure due to power fluctuations or overload and misuse of the device other than recommendations of the manufacturer.
  • If the device is purchased with a one-year additional hardware warranty, Toyo.lk will provide services for the motherboard, replacement parts other than the display and the touch sensors of the device.
  • In case of accidental liquid damage or accidental physical damage, the warranty for the device will be void instantly and no service will be provided by us or the manufacturer other than special conditions by the manufacturer if any.
  • Devices with removable accessories such as smart watch straps will not be eligible for a warranty. Certain charging adapters, cables, handsfree and cases will not be eligible for warranty other than specified. (Conditions Apply)
  • A device-to-device replacement shall not be entertained under any circumstances unless the device is detected with manufacture defects within the stipulated first seven days of purchase. The decision by the management will be deemed final in such an event in both circumstances.
  • Refunds will not be processed for change of mind, wrong device purchase different colour purchase, etc. Decisions by the management will be final in such circumstances.
  • Refunds will not be processed for devices with a broken manufacturer seal or tampering with the original manufacturer’s packaging.
  • The warranty cannot be transferred to another individual or entity under any circumstances and the warranty will be void if the device is sold or transferred to a third party.
  • Any alteration or tampering with the original invoice will automatically disqualify for warranty eligibility.
  • Undertaken warranty claims will require a minimum period of 40 working days for devices with an International warranty, including an AppleCare warrantyAppleCare warranty claims will be entitled to a courier charge and the cost will be revealed after the service due to courier fee fluctuations. Warranty duration shall vary depending on unforeseen circumstances.
  • Devices with water resistance or IPX ratings will not be eligible for claims regarding liquid damage since liquid penetration is possible only in an instance where the user has violated or disregarded the recommended guidelines by the manufacturer or IPX rating provider.
  • Warranty claims for devices with local agent warranty shall be undertaken by their specific service centres in the country as we have no authority over warranty protocols of such devices. Dead-on-arrival devices are subjected to the same procedures and decisions by the relevant agents shall be final.
  • Devices eligible for International warranty should be handed over for claims with a minimum buffer period of 21 working days before expiry. Apple products, JBL devices, Logitech, and OnePlus devices are some of the such devices.
  • For warranty claim, the original invoice, product, included original accessories and the packaging box should be handed over. At the time of the claim process and the option is to be replaced, the product will be replaced with a substitute model with or without additional payment if the said model is discontinued or not available.
  • Any attempt to repair or service by an unauthorized 3rd party will automatically disqualify for warranty eligibility and no responsibility whatsoever will be taken by Toyo.lk.

  • The customer should bear the courier charges/other charges incurred to claim the product.

  • The product is eligible for a period on 1 Year from the purchase/delivery date from Huawei.

Refunds & Exchanges

Refunds for change of mind will not be accepted. Products/ services under daily deals/weekly deals are limited-time and limited-stock promotions that once ordered and paid are non-refundable. The voucher issues when you purchase the product/ service must be utilized (redeemed) during the validity period of the voucher. Toyo.lk is not liable for failure to redeem the voucher under any circumstances and cannot be refunded. Refunds are only acceptable when the product is out of stock. All refunds are processed within 2-14 working days by Toyo.lk (processing times are shown in the table below). Further processing back to your credit card/ bank account may require additional time depending on the bank/ institution for which Toyo.lk cannot be held liable.

Suspicious Orders and Use of Fraudulent Cards

As a prominent participant in Sri Lanka’s e-commerce sector, we have a zero-tolerance policy towards counterfeit orders or transactions involving stolen or fraudulent credit/debit cards. It is imperative that online shoppers fully comply with the legal guidelines outlined by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka and adhere to the Terms and Conditions stipulated by Toyo.lk. To uphold these standards, customers are required to furnish accurate details and exclusively employ cards registered under their name for transactions. Your adherence to these regulations contributes to the maintenance of a secure and trustworthy online shopping environment. In the event of transactions raising suspicion or orders exceeding 100,000, payments will undergo verification by the payment gateway provider. This is to ensure the authenticity and genuineness of the purchase. As a result, we may ask customers for additional information, such as ID proof or the last four digits of the credit/debit card used for the transaction. Your cooperation in providing these details will assist us in maintaining the security of the transaction process. If an order is determined to be counterfeit or involves the use of stolen or fraudulent credit/debit cards, we will promptly cancel the order without prior notice to the customer. Additionally, we are committed to collaborating with the Sri Lanka Police and the Central Bank of Sri Lanka to initiate legal proceedings against such shoppers. In the event of any disputes or disagreements, we kindly urge the shopper to visit our office in person for resolution. During the verification process, orders will remain on hold until the necessary verification is obtained from either the payment gateway provider or the service provider. Please note that urgent pickups and express deliveries will not be entertained during this period. In situations where a customer has selected the express delivery option and the order cannot be fulfilled promptly due to verification processes, we will ensure to refund the express delivery fee. This refund can be provided either at the time of delivery or through a bank transfer of the corresponding amount. We appreciate your patience as we work diligently to ensure the security and authenticity of each transaction.
