GP3 Processor & 1″ Image Sensor

The new GP3 processor and increased 1″ image sensor work in tandem with one another for sharper footage with faster frame rates. The MISSION 1 series delivers twice the pixel processing power over other GoPro models for natural, cinematic video and minimal noise in low-light or night applications. Quad Bayer mode unlocks 2x video zoom and 12MP mode in 4K shooting scenarios.

8K & 4K Open Gate

The MISSION 1 series easily captures Open Gate footage, a taller 4:3 video frame than other capture modes. Open Gate is available in both 8K30 and 4K120 resolutions for more flexibility in editing, reframing, and content delivery.

50MP Raw Photo Capture

Take up to 50MP 12-bit raw photos or use Quad Bayer mode and shoot 12MP raw with dual gain for brighter final products. Other photo modes include interval and burst shooting, ensuring you don’t miss any of the action.
